Shampoo bars are a concentrated solid form of liquid shampoo that last many washes, up to three bottles of liquid shampoo, but without the plastic bottles or water (which you already have in the shower.)
Our shampoo bar is lightly scented with essential oils of Rosemary and Peppermint. Form a bubble lather by massaging the bar directly on your scalp or hands, and watch as the foamy suds of naturally derived coconut surfactants cleanse dirt and oil build-up away.
Why use surfactants?
Surfactants are found in a full range of cleaning products and detergents. Many can be found in gentle formulas for baby washes and others can be found in extra strength grime fighting cleansers. What matters is picking the right one for the job!
Though we have an affinity for cold-process soap bars on our skin, they are not ideal for cleansing the hair shaft as the oils often leave a sticky residue due to the hard water variations coming out of everyone’s showers. To combat the residue, an apple cider vinegar rinse needs to follow up the routine if a cold-process shampoo bar is used. Although some people prefer to take the extra step, we prefer to use naturally derived surfactants in our formulas because they are gentle and effective… not to mention sudsy, and no additional vinegar rinse is necessary. Just wash away with water as you would with normal liquid shampoo and you are good to go!
Shampoo Bars are perfect for travel! Bundle our shampoo and conditioner bar together and save $3.
