Join our two week Artist Residency from the comfort of home or anywhere else in the world.

With the support of our founder and community members, Studio Mestiza provides a guided, self-appointed artist residency to empower you to move past that artist block or unmotivated energy that has been lingering far too long. We are here to learn to let go of expectations of what art and creativity should look like, and reconnect with our inner child through play rather than perfection.

Whether you choose to create from home, rent out a cabin in the woods, or travel abroad for two weeks, artists of all levels and disciplines are welcome to join this free community event that will keep us accountable as a group to gain momentum on our art practice as we take risks, research, explore, and discover.

Through email reminders, guides, resources, and support sent to your inbox, we will stay motivated and disciplined together. We will help you reframe the way you value your creative practice by setting aside time and dedicating a space to work integrated in your everyday life. Even if you only have one or two hours to work per day, let’s make it happen!
